Blessings to you on this Wednesday afternoon! Whether we realize it or not, each of us is a role model to those around us. Others watch our actions and, as followers of Christ, we are to act accordingly. Spend time reflecting on your behavior and ask yourself these questions: What kind of example am I for others to see? Does my behavior toward others serve as a genuine example of righteousness? Are my words and actions based upon Christ’s teachings of kindness, faithfulness, and a love for the Lord? (1 Timothy 4:12)
The following is a quote by Phillips Brooks [1835-1893, clergyman, author] “Be such a person, and live such a life, that if every person were such as you, and every life a life like yours, this earth would be God’s Paradise.” May it be our heart’s desire to live each day in a way that reflects our obedience to God by demonstrating Christ-like behavior.
